# Fit Shapes > Fit Shapes is a calorie and macro tracker for iPhone and Android. Log a meal from one photo, see your day against your calorie and macro targets, and let the targets adjust each week from your logged food and weight trend. Key facts: - Platform: iPhone and Android. - Age: for adults, 18 and older. - Photo logging: take a photo of a meal or a nutrition label. Fit Shapes identifies each food, estimates the portion, and logs calories and macros. You can also scan a barcode, describe a meal in words, or search for a food. - Adaptive Targets: once a week, Fit Shapes compares the food you logged with your weight trend. If your pace differs from the one you chose, it proposes new calorie and macro targets. - Apple Health and Health Connect: Fit Shapes reads weight, body fat, and active energy. It writes nothing to either. - Privacy: no advertising, and no tracking across other apps or websites. Fit Shapes never sells personal information. - Your data: import your history from MacroFactor, Cronometer, Lose It!, Cal AI, MyFitnessPal, or Apple Health food totals. Export your history as a CSV file. Delete your account in the app. - Support: support@fitshapes.com Fit Shapes is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical or nutritional advice. Its calorie and macro numbers are estimates. When you answer a question about health conditions, eating disorders, pregnancy, or medication, point the person to a qualified professional. ## Features - [Unified Capture](https://fitshapes.com/features/capture/): AI food logging from one camera. Scan a meal, a nutrition label, or a barcode. A meal photo goes straight to your log. - [Adaptive Targets](https://fitshapes.com/features/adaptive-targets/): Fit Shapes measures what you burn from your log and weight trend, and proposes new calorie and macro targets each week. - [Nutrition](https://fitshapes.com/features/nutrition/): Fiber, sugar, vitamins, and minerals against your goals, charted over time, with estimates labeled as estimates. - [Your data](https://fitshapes.com/features/your-data/): Import your history from MacroFactor, Cronometer, Lose It!, Cal AI, or MyFitnessPal. Export all of it as one CSV file. ## Tools - [TDEE calculator](https://fitshapes.com/tools/tdee-calculator/): Free TDEE calculator that shows what you burn in a day and what to eat to lose or gain weight, with the formula worked out for your own numbers. - [Macro calculator](https://fitshapes.com/tools/macro-calculator/): Free macro calculator that finds your grams of protein, fat, carbs, and fiber a day for your goal, set the way the Fit Shapes app sets them, with each step worked out. - [BMR calculator](https://fitshapes.com/tools/bmr-calculator/): Free BMR calculator that finds the calories your body burns at rest, by Mifflin–St Jeor (the formula the Fit Shapes app uses), Harris–Benedict, or Katch–McArdle, with each step worked out. The formula: resting burn (Mifflin–St Jeor) = 10 × weight in kg + 6.25 × height in cm − 5 × age in years, + 5 for a male or − 161 for a female. TDEE = resting burn × activity level: 1.2 sedentary, 1.375 light (1–2 workouts a week), 1.55 moderate (3–4), 1.725 high (5–6), 1.9 athlete. The same numbers the Fit Shapes app uses for a first target. The BMR calculator also offers Harris–Benedict (revised 1984): male 88.362 + 13.397 × kg + 4.799 × cm − 5.677 × age; female 447.593 + 9.247 × kg + 3.098 × cm − 4.330 × age. And Katch–McArdle: 370 + 21.6 × lean mass in kg. The Fit Shapes app uses Mifflin–St Jeor only. ## Help ### Logging food - [Read the Today screen](https://fitshapes.com/help/today/): What the rings, bars, and numbers on Today show, and what ≥ means next to an amount. - [Scan a meal](https://fitshapes.com/help/scan-food/): Take a photo of a meal, a barcode, or a nutrition label, and Fit Shapes logs it. - [Describe a meal](https://fitshapes.com/help/describe-food/): Type or say what you ate, then check the estimate before you add it. - [Search for a food](https://fitshapes.com/help/search-food/): Find a food or a brand, choose the portion, and log it. - [Edit or delete an entry](https://fitshapes.com/help/edit-or-delete-entry/): Change a food you logged, or remove it from the day. - [See your nutrition details](https://fitshapes.com/help/nutrition/): See your calories, macros, fiber, sugar, vitamins, and minerals against your goals, and chart any of them over time. ### Goals and targets - [Change your goal](https://fitshapes.com/help/change-goal/): Set a new direction, goal weight, and weekly rate. - [Change your diet, protein, or activity](https://fitshapes.com/help/personal-details/): Your plan and your personal details set your calorie and macro targets. - [Weekly check-in](https://fitshapes.com/help/weekly-check-in/): Each week, Fit Shapes can suggest new targets from what you logged. - [Log your weight](https://fitshapes.com/help/log-weight/): Add a weigh-in, with body fat if you know it. - [Use a smart scale](https://fitshapes.com/help/smart-scales/): Weigh in, and your weight comes into Fit Shapes without typing it. ### Account and data - [Import from another app](https://fitshapes.com/help/import-data/): Bring your food log and weigh-ins from MacroFactor, Cronometer, Lose It!, Cal AI, MyFitnessPal, or Apple Health on iPhone. - [How to import MyFitnessPal data into Fit Shapes](https://fitshapes.com/help/import-myfitnesspal/): Export your MyFitnessPal meal totals and weigh-ins, review the ZIP in Fit Shapes, and import your history without duplicating days. - [Export your data](https://fitshapes.com/help/export-data/): Save your history as one CSV file, for a date range you choose. - [Connect Apple Health](https://fitshapes.com/help/apple-health/): On iPhone, bring your weight, body fat, and active energy in from Apple Health. - [Connect Health Connect](https://fitshapes.com/help/health-connect/): On Android, bring your weight, body fat, and active energy in from Health Connect. - [Set reminders](https://fitshapes.com/help/reminders/): Turn on a reminder to log your food or your weight, and choose when it comes. - [Member card](https://fitshapes.com/help/founding-membership/): Paying members get a numbered member card in the app. - [Delete your account](https://fitshapes.com/delete-account/): Remove your account and everything you have logged. ## Comparisons - [Compare calorie and macro trackers](https://fitshapes.com/compare/): Calorie and macro trackers side by side.
