How to export your Cronometer data and import it into Fit Shapes
Export your Cronometer daily totals, food entries, and weigh-ins as CSV files from cronometer.com, then import them into Fit Shapes.
To move your food log from Cronometer to Fit Shapes, export your data from the Cronometer website, then import the files into Fit Shapes. Fit Shapes reads the exports directly, so you do not need a spreadsheet or a converter.
Your daily totals and weigh-ins come across. If your food entries export shows calories, each food comes across on its own. Goals and targets do not come across.

Export from Cronometer
Cronometer exports from its website, not from the app.
- Sign in at cronometer.com.
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Under Export Data, choose All time.
- Export Daily Nutrition. This file is your daily totals (dailysummary.csv).
- Export Biometrics. This file is your weigh-ins (biometrics.csv).
On iPhone, save both files to Files. On Android, your browser saves them to Downloads.
To bring each food on its own, also export Food & Recipe Entries (servings.csv). Open it and check that it has a calories column.
Import into Fit Shapes
- Open Account from your avatar at the top right of Today.
- Under Data & integrations, tap Import data, then choose Cronometer.
- Tap Choose in the Daily totals row, and choose dailysummary.csv. If your servings.csv has calories, choose it here instead.
- Tap Choose in the Weigh-ins row, and choose biometrics.csv.
- Tap Review import, check what will come across, and confirm.
With dailysummary.csv, each day comes across as one entry, Daily total (Cronometer). With servings.csv, each food comes across on its own.
You can import with one file.
- Without Daily Nutrition (or a servings file with calories), only your weigh-ins come across.
- Without Biometrics, no weigh-ins come across.
What comes across
- Entries keep their dates. They show as Imported.
- A weigh-in you already have in Fit Shapes wins over an imported one on the same date.
- The import skips a day you already logged in Fit Shapes, so it counts nothing twice. Importing the same files again is safe.
