How to export your Lose It! data and import it into Fit Shapes

Export your Lose It! food log and weigh-ins as a ZIP from loseit.com, then import the file into Fit Shapes on iPhone or Android.

To move your food log from Lose It! to Fit Shapes, export your data from the Lose It! website, then import the ZIP into Fit Shapes. Fit Shapes reads the export directly, so you do not need a spreadsheet or a converter.

Your food entries and weigh-ins come across. Each food keeps its own entry. Goals and targets do not come across.

Export from Lose It!

Lose It! exports from its website, not from the app.

  1. On a computer or in your phone’s browser, sign in at loseit.com.
  2. Open loseit.com/export/data. Your export downloads as a .zip file.
  3. On iPhone, save the file to Files. On Android, your browser saves it to Downloads.

Leave the file zipped.

Import into Fit Shapes

  1. Open Account from your avatar at the top right of Today.
  2. Under Data & integrations, tap Import data.
  3. Choose Lose It!, then choose the .zip file you saved.
  4. Check the dates, entries, and weigh-ins, then confirm the import.

Lose It! does not record the time of each entry. Fit Shapes gives each entry its meal’s usual time.

What comes across

  • Food entries keep their dates and meals. They show as Imported.
  • A weigh-in you already have in Fit Shapes wins over an imported one on the same date.
  • The import skips a day you already logged in Fit Shapes, so it counts nothing twice. Importing the same file again is safe.

After the import, open an imported day and compare it with your Lose It! log. Keep your original export until you have checked the imported history.

If you need help

For an unrecognized file or a large export, see import troubleshooting. You can also choose another import source.
